Honu Hale Lanikai is a simple
and comfortable two bedroom oceanfront vacation home in beautiful
Lanikai on the island of Oahu. It has one bedroom/one bath in
the main house and a separate large private bedroom and bath
upstairs. It can accommodate up to 6 people--2 each in the bedrooms
and 2 on the queen sofa bed in the living room.
Honu Hale ("Turtle House")
is located exactly in front of the Mokulua Islands, providing
endless hours of outstanding views from both bedrooms as well
as the living room, backyard, and sundeck. Easy access
(a short stairway down to the ocean) means you can swim, snorkel,
kayak, fish, etc. right from your yard. Your days are filled
with the sounds of waves, tradewinds blowing through the coconut
trees and picturesque sailboats, kayakers and canoes going by.
Lanikai provides a fun and healthy lifestyle in a friendly beach
community. It's perfect for families as well as couples wanting
a relaxed Hawaiian style home environment away from the busy
and crowded resort areas.

Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo!
We came to this place for the wedding of our daughter, sister,
and friend. It was perfect that we were all able to stay together
in this beautiful house on the water. This excellent setting
with the view of the 2 little islands, with the outriggers, kayakers,
boaters and swimmers brought back the memories of the beautiful
place that brought us all together, Palau, and that made us all
family. ... We so enjoyed our early morning swims with the gorgeous
sunrises. The colors from the sunsets were amazing. The stargazing
incredible. All the neighbors were so kind and friendly. Most
of all we enjoyed our daughter's, sisters's and friend's wedding
that was a dream come true for us all. We made so may more beautiful
memories here to share with one another and friends when we meet
again.

Thank you so very much for the wonderful stay in your
beautiful home. We had such a relaxing vaction here. The view
is incredible and we loved the privacy! Our kids will never forget
this experience, nor will we! Everything was just perfect--couldn't
ask for a more accommodating home away from home.

Each day a cocoanut floats in from "unknown" islands.
Watching crabs (from a safe spot) walk along. Watching many bird
or gekos, that's what I did.

Thanks for hosting our vacation! We loved the sunrises, Air
Chair (we bought one for back home), ping-pong games, hammock
and the Internet for researching Luau times, etc. We really liked
the at upstairs. We loved taking pictures of the 2 islands and
playing soccer in thebackyard with a beach ball. The geckos were
great and swaying palm trees were perfect in our pictures.

- 2006: $395/night + taxes
- 2007: $425/night + taxes
- Holiday Surcharge: Additional 10% for Dec 19 - Jan 5
- Rate is for up to 4 persons. 5th and 6th persons are $15
each additional per night.
- 7 Night Minimum rental is required
- 6 person maximum occupancy
- $250 cleaning fee per rental
- $500 damage deposit required (refundable less any damages)
- State taxes of 11.416% are additional and applied to all
charges above
